Guestbook Reviews:

This is our 8th visit to the Byre over 13 years!  Every bit as perfect as ever. In fact even better given the glorious spring sunshine we have been blessed with this week. Thanks Lesley, for setting up the Byre so perfectly and thanks for the welcome goodies, we look forward to our next visit xxx

Beautiful cottage, stunning location. Everything we wanted it to be. Thank you

Winter 2024

We have had such a relaxing break at the Byre. It has been so nice to wake up every morning in such a calm, peaceful and beautiful setting. The Byre is gorgeous and had everything you could need. Thank you for the treats, we hope to return!

Autumn 2024

We have had a wonderful stay here - the weather has been kind to us! Lovely cottage and everything we needed. Sat out in the evening with the fire pit, listening to the amazing bird song and the lambs were very amusing too! Thank you for the wine, fudge and eggs, really appreciated.

Summer 2024

Fabulous stay - (must be the biggest bed I've slept in!)  Great walks, fantastic accommodation and we were really lucky with the weather!

Spring 2024

The most gorgeous peaceful farm in a stunning and easily accessible location for quick access to anywhere in the Lakes! Winding down here on an evening has been wonderful, but nothing in comparison to waking up to the birds at the feeder every morning – including a lovely little nuthatch! Thank you so much to Lesley, family and animals who have all been lovely, friendly and super helpful.

A Wonderfully welcoming stay and we hope to come back sometime soon!

A lovely relaxing break for our first time in the Lake District. We ve enjoyed great food and amazing walks. Highly recommend visiting the Aira Force waterfalls and eating at Granny Dowerberkins in Pooley Bridge. The cottage so cosy and weve loved the attention from the black and white cat and Timmy the pony! Thank you for a lovely stay. The fudge was so yummy. Im sure we will be back x
