Bothy

What a wonderful place. So well equipped and very comfortable. We have thoroughly enjoyed our week here and intend to return. So convenient for the M6 and then on to other places.

Amazing stay again. Bothy was wonderful, this truly is Gods country. Helvellyn was a challenge but amazing views from the summit. Ennerdale Water was wonderful. Thank you for the treats and see you next year.

We have had a wonderful stay. Beautiful surroundings and extremely comfortable and well equipped accommodation.

We have had a lovely relaxing week in the Bothy – very homely and well equipped – our 7^th visit to High House in total and we will return! Apart from a biblical thunderstorm on Sunday, we have had great weather, so plenty of walks for the dogs. Our dogs enjoyed meeting Lesley’s clan. Lesley - thank you for the welcome pack.

Lovely cottage, quiet, clean and loved the underfloor heating the bathroom, great for achy feet! Many thanks for the welcome gifts. Had a great time doing loads of walks in the Ullswater valley and this was the perfect base. We will definitely be back.

Another wonderful part of life at High House. Don’t know how you do it - but it’s always such pleasure to share your bit of paradise. The changes in the Bothy are just lovely - all updated and with so many treats - wine, fudge, glorious eggs. See you in October - always eager to come back.

We’ve had a lovely peaceful week in your beautiful cottage. It was far more comfortable than other places we’ve stayed. Much more roomy and equipped that delivered all you needed and more.
